TeacherActive is recruiting a Residential Support Worker in Matlock to provide overnight care for children and young people from 10pm to 7am. The role involves supporting individuals with diverse needs, ensuring safety, emotional security and adherence to care plans within a welcoming residential setting.

Shifts are pre-booked on a flexible, ad hoc basis across weekdays and weekends. Experience in safeguarding and a caring, resilient demeanor are essential to thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a children's residential care setting.
• Experience supporting young people with additional needs or complex trauma.
• Understanding safeguarding procedures and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities
