About the role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our difference be felt by our customers on every visit, providing Partner-led service and a passion for food that our competitors can't match. Your drive to go the extra mile will enhance the customer's impression of the Waitrose brand, earning their trust and loyalty for a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to ensure shelves are full and products are correctly placed for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
• Reducing wastage through product due diligence and markdowns.
• Supporting the shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, and fulfilling customer orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Essential skills/experience you'll need

• Effective communication skills to work well with team members and customers.

Desirable skills/experience you may have

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the branch.

Contract: 37 hours per week with alternating shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 21:00-07:00.
