Job description

Experienced Service Front Counter Advisor

Flexible working contract available between full and part-time hours with a PM finish working with our existing AM mid-afternoon team, who presently enjoy flexible working and cover our busy service reception.

Aston Autopark are a Vauxhall Main Dealer, Peugeot, Citroen and Ford authorised repairer, as well as holding a used car stock of over 200 vehicles.

Established over 35 years ago and family-owned and run, we are a top-rated business for customer service and serve a wide area surrounding our facility. We are expanding rapidly and have room on our 3.5-acre site for further development.

The successful candidate will cover the PM finish which is 6 PM with a start time of between 10 AM and 2 PM under a flexible working contract that will include a minimum of one Saturday morning in three, this can be more, and time can be taken in leu mid-week to compensate, additionally additional cover hours for holidays and absence are available.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a great Aftersales Team within a flexible working department.

Responsibilities

  • Front of house reception/counter – meet and greet
  • Maintaining customer service levels, meeting targets set and deadlines
  • Look after the customer bookings and checking vehicles
  • Advising customers on the course of action and invoicing any work, whilst maximising any opportunities to upsell through the vehicle health check process
  • Encourage customer satisfaction via exit handover and follow-up contact
  • Prepare invoices, explain and take payments
  • Produce estimates for repair costs and times
  • Quote and sell service plans

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Motor trade experience in this role or similar
  • Great organisational skills
  • Proficient in using computer systems
  • Full cleaning driving licence
  • Highly motivated
  • Team Player
  • Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues

Working Monday - Friday - Saturday morning as part of a rota with the existing team

Remuneration will be commensurate with hours contracted and worked, as well as experience and anticipated contribution.
