About the role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help deliver a memorable experience to our customers by providing excellent Partner-led service and a passion for food that sets us apart. Your dedication to going the extra mile will enhance the Waitrose brand image and foster customer loyalty.

Note: Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over. Additionally, a shift premium is paid for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00, at the role's minimum pay rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to ensure shelves are full and products are correctly positioned.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
• Reducing wastage through product diligence and markdowns.
• Supporting the wider shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Essential skills/experience

• Effective communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction.

Desirable skills/experience

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Interest and knowledge of food and drink trends.
• Flexibility to support the branch as needed.
