Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Crowborough, part of the John Lewis Partnership, is hiring a Supermarket Assistant to deliver Partner-led service and ensure shelves and online orders are managed efficiently.

The role offers a 25-hour part-time schedule with night shifts (20:00–07:00) and a night premium. Starting pay is £13.00 per hour, increasing to £13.25 after 90 days, with DBS checks possible and flexible working where possible.

• Experience in a customer facing role is welcomed.
• Flexible approach to ensure the support of the whole branch.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place.
• Fulfilling online orders for drivers to deliver to customers.
• Reducing wastage by following due diligence and markdowns.
• Supporting the wider team including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
