Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Sandbach is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to support store operations with partner-led service and a passion for food, ensuring a positive customer experience on every visit.

You will handle stock replenishment, fulfill online orders for home delivery, reduce wastage, and collaborate with the shop team including checkout and Click & Collect, while keeping the floor safe and clean.

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products in the right place.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers' doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns before sell-by dates.
• Working with the wider shop team to support when needed including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
