Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to deliver friendly, Partner-led service to customers and help maintain high standards across the shop. You’ll stock shelves, assist with online order fulfilment and support the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Experience in customer-facing roles is welcomed, and a flexible approach is valued to support the branch. DBS checks may be required for certain roles, with flexible working possibilities discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place for customers.
• Fulfil online customer orders ready for delivery.
• Reduce wastage by applying due diligence and marking down near sell by dates.
• Support the wider shop team including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
