About the role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our difference be felt by our customers on every visit by providing the Partner-led service and passion for food that our competitors can't match. Your drive to go the extra mile will enhance the impression of the Waitrose brand and foster customer loyalty.

Note: Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.

Additional pay: You will receive a shift premium for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00, paid at the role's minimum pay rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and products correctly positioned.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
• Reducing wastage through product due diligence and markdowns.
• Supporting the wider shop team, including checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, and fulfilling customer orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Essential skills/experience

• Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
