Job summary

Harbour Hotels, a collection of prestigious hotels across the UK, is seeking a Night Porter to support the Night Manager and care for guests during the night. The role requires a sound knowledge of Front Office procedures with Opera experience and a proactive, service-focused attitude.

The position offers clear progression opportunities, on-the-job training, meals on duty, and staff discounts across Harbour Hotels properties.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of Front Office procedures, ideally with Opera experience and ability to handle check-in and check-out.
• Experience in hotel night operations with a customer-service focus and enthusiasm for service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Night Manager in looking after guests and the hotel overnight.
• Assist with overnight check-in/check-out and front-desk procedures as required.

The role…

We have a superb opportunity for a Night Porter to join the team. As Night Porter you will be responsible for supporting the Night Manager in looking after the guests and the hotel throughout the night. You will need to have a sound knowledge of Front Office procedures ideally with experience of Opera and perform check in and check out processes. This position would suit someone with previous hotel night experience, who is self-motivated with a passion for service excellence.
