Job summary

Travelodge Winchester is seeking a Night Reception Team Member on a part-time contract. No experience required; we will coach you to welcome guests, check them in, and ensure the hotel runs smoothly overnight.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and be coached.
• Customer-focused with polite, helpful communication.
• Comfortable working nights and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in during night shifts.
• Walk corridors to monitor safety and respond to complaints.
• Handle evictions when required.
• Set up hotel for the next day, including housekeeping trolleys.
• Prepare breakfast service areas and assist behind the bar if needed.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as ‘FAB Fridays’ and ‘Housekeeping Heroes’. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
