Job summary

Travelodge Borehamwood is seeking a Night Reception Team Member on a part-time contract. No prior experience required; we will coach you and help you grow within a friendly, family-feel team with flexible work to suit you.

Your duties include welcoming guests, checking them in, patrolling corridors, and handling noise or eviction issues. You’ll also set up for the next day—prepping trolleys, breakfast prep, and sometimes serving at the bar.

Qualifications

• Welcoming guests and assisting front desk tasks.
• Ability to handle guest requests and emergencies with courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in.
• Walk hotel corridors and address noise or eviction issues.
• Prepare for the next day: housekeeping trolleys, breakfast prep.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as 'FAB Fridays' and 'Housekeeping Heroes'. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you'll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you'll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times.
