Job summary

Village Hotels - Glasgow is seeking a Night Porter to welcome late arrivals and bid goodnight to early guests with warmth and energy. You will contribute to a safe, well-run overnight operation while upselling hotel facilities.

In this role, you’ll handle overnight security, cash handling, night audits, and the hotel switchboard, acting as a reliable point of contact throughout the night. A hands-on team player, you’ll also pour drinks, assist room service, and tidy public spaces.

Responsibilities

• The Welcome: Check in late arrivals and send-off early guests with warmth, helping them feel at home and upsell facilities.
• The Protector: Maintain overnight security with thorough checks, handle night audits, cash, and hotel switchboard.
• The All-Rounder: Be a hands-on team player—pour a late-night pint, assist room service, clean public areas, and set up meeting rooms for the day shift.
