The Alfa Holiday Group is seeking a Night Porter for The Cliffe Norton Hotel in Tenby. The role covers a circa 25-hour week with a night shift from 23:00 to 07:00.

The position offers an hourly rate of £14.96, regardless of age, plus a paid weekly kitchen shift at £13.45 per hour. You will help keep the hotel secure and handle guest issues overnight, with duties including walking the building and cleaning public areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Happy to lone work.
• Comfortable being in charge of a building during the night.
• Ability to understand processes and put these into practice in an emergency.

Responsibilities

• Be the night point of contact for the hotel from 23:00 to 07:00.
• Ensure hotel security overnight and promptly handle guest issues.
• Walk the hotel regularly and clean public areas; follow policy in emergencies.

Night Porterworking hours:

As aNight Porteryou will workcirca 25hours per week, including weekends with an hourly rate of £14.96,regardless of age! In addition, you will be trained as a Kitchen Assistant, and do 1 shift a week in the kitchen, which will be paid at £13.45 per hour.

Night Porter Responsibilities:

As a Night Porter you will be the point of contact for the hotel during the night between the hours of 23:00pm to 07:00am. You will be responsible for making sure the hotel is secure during the night and any guest issues are handled promptly. Should a rare emergency occur, you will need to put your training into action by following the hotel polices and alerting the relevant people. You will regularly walk the hotel and be responsible for cleaning within the public areas.
