Job summary

Woolley Grange, part of Luxury Family Hotels, has reopened after refurbishment. We are hiring a Night Porter to help run the hotel at night.

This permanent, 32-hours-per-week role pays £13.28 per hour, plus a generous service charge and great benefits. As Night Porter you will oversee the hotel from sundown to sunrise, ensure guest safety and comfort, assist with check-ins, and uphold brand standards across reception and public areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality background is preferred.
• Engaging personality with a passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Ability to interact with all guests including children.
• Problem-solving skills and calmness in emergencies.
• Basic computer skills and numeracy; honesty and good judgement.
• Availability to work night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

Role overview:

As a Night Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night hours. This position requires a responsible and proactive individual who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of service and security for our guests.

This is a permanent position at 32 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £13.28 per hour, plus generous service charge.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
