Job description

Night Porter

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Your Job:

1. Check in and out hotel guests as required, and assist with guest requests related to luggage/porterage.
2. Responsible for cleaning areas in the hotel, including the lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floors, public and staff areas, and the meeting room floor.
3. Responsible for cleaning other areas as directed by the manager on duty and as per the nightly checklist, which may include setting up function rooms and the breakfast area.
4. Maintain the front entrance and outside of the hotel, ensuring they are clean and tidy at all times, including emptying bins and rubbish collection.
5. Understand and follow the hotel’s fire procedures to ensure the safety of staff and guests.
6. Set up meeting rooms as required.
