Job summary

Heartwood Collection in Lewes, United Kingdom, is seeking a Night Porter to safeguard guests overnight and ensure smooth operation outside trading hours. You’ll assist the Night Manager, perform cleaning, manage late check-ins, and support night audits while maintaining health and safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience and a keen eye for detail. The position is a flexi contract with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a pay rate of £14.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Night Porter/Auditor in hotel or hospitality.
• Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.

Night Porter

As a Night Porter at Heartwood Collection, you'll assist in the safety and well-being of our guests during overnight stays and maintain the smooth operation of the property outside key trading hours. You'll be key in delivering exceptional guest care, and ensuring that health and safety standards are met. Also, be responsible for the cleanliness of the public areas.

• You're responsible, reliable, and have a keen eye for details
• Well-organised and able to learn systems and audits for overnight
• Have the ability to work alone when night managers are off
• 1-2 years of experience as a Night Porter/ Auditor in a hotel or hospitality setting
