Job summary

Holiday Inn High Wycombe is seeking a Night Porter to join our team. You will help guests with luggage and travel arrangements and support the night operation by handling guest requests, room amenities and Food & Beverage service.

We value staff who stay calm under pressure, stay vigilant for safety, and can adapt to shift patterns to prepare the hotel for the day ahead. Flexible hours, weekends and evenings, with career training through our apprenticeship programmes.

Qualifications

• Experiences in hospitality or guest-facing roles are beneficial.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

Are you a night owl?

We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team.

Primarily you will be helping guests with their luggage and travel arrangements. You will also will support the night operation to meet guest requests which includes additional room amenities and serving Food and beverages.

The variety of this role need someone who can work calmly under pressure and be always vigilant to keep the hotel safe.

This role requires flexibility to adapt on shift and use initiative to prepare the hotel for the day ahead.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
