Job summary

Valor Hospitality in Portrush, United Kingdom is seeking a Night Porter to join our team. You will help guests with luggage and travel arrangements while supporting night operations to meet guest requests, including room amenities and serving food and beverages.

The role requires you to stay vigilant for safety, be able to work calmly under pressure, and adapt shift patterns as needed. We offer training and open shifts seven days a week with flexible contracting hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or hospitality is preferred.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Help guests with luggage and travel arrangements.
• Support night operations to meet guest requests, including room amenities and serving food and beverages.
• Stay vigilant to ensure hotel safety and security.

Job description

£27,476.80 per annum. 40 hours per week across 5 days.

We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team.

Primarily you will be helping guests with their luggage and travel arrangements. You will also will support the night operation to meet guest requests which includes additional room amenities and serving Food and beverages.

The variety of this role need someone who can work calmly under pressure and be always vigilant to keep the hotel safe.

This role requires flexibility to adapt on shift and use initiative to prepare the hotel for the day ahead.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
