Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Night Porter to safeguard guests and staff while delivering a warm, welcoming experience in our Chef & Brewer pubs. You’ll manage late check-ins, respond to inquiries, and support night-time operations with cleaning and light food prep.

We value a proactive, detail-oriented team player with strong English communication skills. This role offers on-site work across our well-known venues with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each time they visit.
• Be the first point of contact for late arrival check-ins and walk-ins.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security are the top priority at all times.
• In case of a fire, evacuate all guests and team members safely and efficiently.
• Answer telephone enquiries and resolve customer complaints to ensure every guest enjoys their stay.
• Night cleaning of the pub.
• Some food preparation.
• Some kitchen cleaning.
• Other small tasks as required by the shift.

Job Description

As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests, staff, and the hotel at night. You’ll be joining a fun and inclusive team, where you can grow and strengthen your skills and experience.

Qualifications

What you'll do as a Night Porter...

• In the event of a fire, safely and efficiently evacuate all guests and team members from the business.
