Job summary

Fowey Harbour Hotel is seeking a dedicated Night Porter to support the Night Manager in caring for guests and the hotel throughout the night. You will handle front desk procedures, including check-ins and check-outs, and bring a passion for service excellence to a night-time context.

Previous hotel night experience is preferred, with self-motivation and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. This role offers opportunities for growth within Harbour Hotels and a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of Front Office procedures and check-in/check-out processes.
• Experience with Opera PMS is advantageous.
• Previous hotel night experience and a passion for service excellence are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Night Manager in looking after guests and the hotel during the night.
• Provide courteous, efficient service and maintain security and safety during night hours.

The role…

We have a superb opportunity for a Night Porter to join the team. As Night Porter you will be responsible for supporting the Night Manager in looking after the guests and the hotel throughout the night. You will need to have a sound knowledge of Front Office procedures ideally with experience of Opera and perform check in and check out processes. This position would suit someone with previous hotel night experience, who is self-motivated with a passion for service excellence.
