Ardoe House Hotel, set in countryside near Aberdeen, invites a Night Porter to safeguard guests and maintain a welcoming, well-presented environment during the night.

You will patrol public areas, assist with late check-ins, operate CCTV, logs, and coordinate with teams to ensure smooth handovers.

Responsibilities

• Patrol public areas and hotel premises to maintain security and safety during night hours
• Respond promptly to guest requests, emergencies, or incidents during the night shift
• Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs, providing efficient guest service
• Perform cleaning duties in public areas including lobby, corridors, restrooms, and entrances
• Monitor and operate security systems, alarms, and CCTV cameras as required
• Handle luggage storage and transportation for arriving and departing guests
• Maintain clear and accurate logs of night activities and incidents
• Support emergency procedures and fire safety protocols as needed
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless handovers and communication
