Job summary

Future Inns Bristol is seeking a Night Supervisor/Duty Manager to lead night operations, manage reception duties, night audits and ensure security and readiness for the day ahead in our Bristol hotel and conference centre.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced hotel receptionist with excellent customer service, professional and well-organised, able to work to deadlines, and capable of supervising the night team and handling guest inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise night operations and ensure smooth service.
• Lead the night team and maintain high guest service standards.
• Assist guests with check-ins/check-outs and overnight inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Perform the night audit and balance daily transactions.
• Monitor hotel security and safety procedures.
• Handle cash, process payments, and reconcile tills.
• Prepare morning handover reports.
• Ensure health, safety, fire, and security compliance.
• Oversee room availability and reservations at night.
• Maintain front desk and public area cleanliness.
• Train and mentor night staff.
• Oversee setup of meeting and events space.
• Complete overnight administrative tasks accurately and on time.
