Surecall Recruitment in Worthing is seeking a Night Operations Manager to lead the overnight response team, including dispatch and field engineers, to handle urgent drainage requests and emergencies.

The role is a 6-month temporary contract with immediate start, offering a stable PAYE payroll and a 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour night-shift pattern in Worthing. The ideal candidate will have operations leadership experience in utilities or drainage and be capable of independent decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fast-paced environments such as logistics, utilities, or drainage.
• Comfort with regular 12-hour night shifts.
• Able to make decisive, independent decisions.
• Available for immediate start on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: oversee nightly operations and dispatch; ensure engineers are deployed to emergencies.
• SLA & Performance Management: hit turnaround times for reactive drainage and incidents.
• Escalation Point: be overnight senior contact for operational hurdles.
• Data & Handover Management: ensure accurate data logging and smooth handovers.
