Job summary

Metcor Environmental is recruiting for HGV Drainage Engineers to join our team, covering Maidenhead, Gravesend, Sheffield and Leigh. This full-time, permanent role involves operating HGV drainage tankers for pre-planned maintenance and emergency works, with a 4 on/4 off pattern and occasional night shifts.

The position requires at least one year in drainage, a minimum Class 2 licence, and flexibility to stay away when needed.

Qualifications

At least one year of drainage industry experience.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Flexibility to work nights and stay-away periods.

Responsibilities

Operate an HGV tanker to carry out pre-planned maintenance works.
Maintain the vehicle and equipment to best possible condition.
Carry out vacuum tanker and high-pressure water jetting and wastewater management.
Adhere to health and safety policies at all times during HGV drainage tanker operation.
Work with an assistant and relay information to the office.
Support CCTV and drainage teams with surveys and investigations.
