Job summary

Unite Group, through Unite Students, is seeking a Night Operations Supervisor in Manchester South. You will lead night shifts, ensuring the student accommodation remains safe, secure and well managed.

This hands-on leadership role requires quick decisions, effective communication and strong ownership of incidents, escalations and resident needs.

You'll coordinate handovers, supervise the night team, and work with the property team to maintain a welcoming, safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate leadership, decision-making and calmness under pressure.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, property or operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Organised, proactive and able to make quick decisions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead night operations to keep the property safe and well maintained.
• Supervise the night team with clear direction and high service standards.
• Act as main escalation point for incidents and resident needs.
• Coordinate handovers between shifts for seamless operations.
• Oversee contractor access and on-site activity.
• Monitor property standards and health and safety compliance.
• Support residents with queries and concerns.
