Job summary

Unite Group is seeking a Night Safety Team Member for Unite Students in Liverpool South. You will work 5 nights per week from 10pm to 7am, patrolling buildings, responding to incidents, and supporting students to feel safe and welcome.

You’ll collaborate with the Student Safety Team Leader and peers to ensure smooth handovers, maintain calm under pressure, and uphold empathy and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Be a friendly face and first point of contact for students who need support or reassurance overnight.
• Keep our buildings and everyone in them safe, responding calmly to incidents or emergencies such as fire alarms, noise complaints, or maintenance issues.
• Help students feel welcome, respected, and cared for - always treating everyone with empathy and professionalism.
• Work closely with day and night teams to ensure seamless service and handovers.
• Take pride in maintaining tidy, safe, and well-kept spaces.
• Support with wellbeing or welfare matters, noticing when something isn’t right and taking action to help.
• Be a brand ambassador, living our CARE principles: Connect, Act, Respect, and Encourage.
