Job summary

Oakpark Security is seeking a vigilant Control Room Operator based in Colchester (CO4 3ZL) for night shifts. You will handle incoming calls, action requests, monitor CCTV, and ensure SLA adherence while maintaining professional standards.

The role requires an SIA licence and clear communication with clients and colleagues. Responsibilities include monitoring emails, generating shift reports, and coordinating with security personnel to safeguard client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in Helpdesk, Call Centre or Control Room operations is desirable.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office and bespoke software packages.
• Solid organisational skills with ability to coordinate priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a strong teamwork ethic.
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming phone calls into the main Operations Control Room.
• Actioning the calls as required.
• Monitoring and actioning emails in the centralised Operations Control Room mailbox.
• Ensure Customers SLA's are adhered to.
• Provide customers with security in accordance with their requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with company procedures.
