Priory Hospital Middleton is seeking a Night Manager to lead the nursing team on night shifts. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, based at Priory Hospital Middleton St George in Darlington, County Durham. Salary is £48,548 per year with benefits and career progression opportunities.

You will oversee clinical services, mentor staff, and ensure high standards of care while coordinating resources and maintaining patient safety throughout the night.

Qualifications

• Currently registered with the NMC as RMN or RNLD with supervisory experience.
• Post-registration experience in hospital settings and night-shift supervision.
• Experience as Ward Manager / Deputy Manager / Senior nurse or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and PMVA requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical management and leadership of the full nursing team on site during night shifts.
• Oversee hospital operations and resources with senior clinical input.
• Coordinate safe night-time delivery of care with Unit Managers.
• Ensure supervision, appraisal and mandatory training for night staff.
