Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is hiring a Night Registered Nurse in Gloucestershire to lead and support a care team in providing high-quality resident care. You will ensure clinical needs are met with professional, safe, and compassionate practice in a fast-paced residential setting.

The role requires an NMC pin, UK work eligibility, and recent CPD; prior care-home experience is preferred. A full-time 48-hour week with alternate weekends is available, with additional on-call and night shift responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Valid, in-date NMC pin without restrictions to practice.
• Evidence of recent clinical CPD.
• Experience in a care home setting is preferable.
• Full-time contract available: 48 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
• Night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care per individual care plans.
• Liaise with home management, families, social workers, and medical professionals to meet resident needs.
• Administer and record medications safely per policy.
• Monitor nutrition and hydration; update plans for dietary changes.
• Watch for pressure injury risks and toilet output changes; report as needed.
• Participate in and promote resident activities.
