Job summary

Health Now is seeking a Night Mental Health Support Worker for Oxfordshire, offering overnight care to individuals with complex mental health needs. You will provide compassionate, person-centred support, helping residents feel safe and supported through the night in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications include experience with complex needs (PTSD, ASD, challenging behaviours) and a DBS check. A full UK driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with complex mental health needs, including complex PTSD, ASD, and challenging behaviours.
• Previous healthcare, social care, mental health or complex care experience is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and person-centred support throughout the night.
• Help maintain a safe and settled environment.
• Monitor the individual's wellbeing and respond appropriately to their needs.
• Support with routines and care plans as required.
• Recognise and respond calmly to changes in behaviour or presentation.
• Complete accurate care notes and records.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and care procedures.
• Work alongside the wider care team to provide consistent support.
