Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd in Cheltenham is seeking a Materials Controller for a 12‑month night-shift contract. You will manage material flow, stock accuracy, and kitting readiness to support programme ramp-ups and integration efforts.

With ERP experience, you will raise and process inventory transactions, support production planning, and ensure timely material requests while maintaining high safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.

Qualifications

• ERP experience in manufacturing environments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock control.
• Ability to interpret production plans and orders.
• Proficient IT skills and PC tool usage.
• Strong communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label and move materials as required.
• Control stock to aerospace standards and procedures.
• Raise and complete ERP inventory transactions.
• Process Work Orders against the Production Plan.
• Fulfil material requests accurately and on time.
• Attend daily performance review rhythms and KPI reviews.
• Troubleshoot queries and resolve issues quickly.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce losses and improve turnaround.
