Job summary

ReeVR Talent is seeking a organised Materials Controller to join the manufacturing team. You will manage stock, materials and purchasing to ensure production has the right materials available at the right time.

Key responsibilities include goods-in, stock checks, issuing materials, chasing orders with suppliers, and ensuring quality materials meet specifications. A proactive team player with attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Materials, Stores, Supply Chain or Purchasing within manufacturing.
• Good understanding of stock control.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience dealing with suppliers and purchase orders.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems desirable.
• Understanding of BOMs desirable.
• Forklift licence or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks.
• Raise and manage purchase orders.
• Chase outstanding orders and liaise with suppliers on lead times and deliveries.
• Identify and resolve material shortages or supplier issues.
• Work closely with Production to prioritise urgent material requirements.
• Ensure materials meet quality and specification requirements.
• Support the management of non-conforming materials.
• Maintain accurate materials and supplier records.
• Support improvements to stores and purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities for the Materials Controller:

• Manage goods-in, storage, picking, kitting and issuing of materials.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks.
