Job summary

Mercure is seeking a Night Manager to be the face of the hotel, greeting guests, handling arrivals and departures, and managing nightly operations. You’ll oversee reservations, payments, and guest requests while ensuring smooth service across the hotel in a busy, hospitality-focused environment.

Full training is provided, and a basic DBS check will be paid for. Shifts are nights (7pm–6:30am) with weekends and bank holidays, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is essential.
• No hotel experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a warm first impression.
• Check guests in and out efficiently.
• Handle reservations and inquiries.
• Process payments accurately and follow billing procedures.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve queries.
• Support team across the hotel.
• Ensure health and safety and fire procedures are followed at night.
• Monitor security and conduct patrols.
• Serve guests at the bar and light room service.
• Prepare meeting rooms for next-day events and assist with equipment.
