Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management, crowning the Crowne Plaza London Docklands in East London, is seeking a Night Manager. You will oversee safety and the night audit from 7pm to 7am, lead a team, and handle guest inquiries while coordinating with all hotel departments.

The role requires hospitality or finance experience, attention to detail, strong communication, and comfort with PMS. Night shifts are essential; RBH offers diverse benefits and equal opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or finance roles with accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and guest service mindset.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS).
• Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of guests and complete the night audit from 7pm–7am.
• Lead a team, ensuring training and development.
• Serve as main contact for in-house and external guest queries overnight.
• Coordinate across departments and relay information with day team.
• Manage emergencies and coordinate with relevant departments.

AN EVENING IN THE LIFE OF NIGHT MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• The principal responsibility is safety and security of guests and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function during the hours of 7pm to 7am
• You will manage a team ensuring each member is effective, trained and developed
• Being the main point of contact for all in-house and external guest queries and requests during the night
• Liaising with all departments and ensure swift and efficient communication across the hotel
• Maintain clear communication with the day team by preparing handover notes and ensuring all relevant information is recorded
• Handle any emergency situations overnight, acting as the point of contact and coordinating with necessary departments

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Previous experience in hospitality or finance roles, with an understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in financial reconciliation
• Good communication skills and the ability to handle guest enquiries professionally
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS)
• Flexibility to work night shifts and the ability to remain focused and productive
