Job summary

RBH is seeking a Night Manager for Crowne Plaza London Docklands, located in East London. The role focuses on safety, accurate night audits, and leading a capable team in a dynamic hospitality setting.

You will act as the primary contact for guests during the night, coordinate with other departments, and ensure timely, high-quality service while maintaining security and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or finance roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Good communication skills for guest interactions.
• Basic IT skills and PMS familiarity.
• Flexibility to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety and security of guests; complete night audit 7pm–7am.
• Lead and develop the night team.
• Serve as main point of contact for in-house and external guests at night.
• Coordinate with departments and ensure smooth communications.
• Prepare handover notes and record relevant information.
• Respond to emergencies during the night and coordinate with teams.

AN EVENING IN THE LIFE OF NIGHT MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• The principal responsibility is safety and security of guests and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function during the hours of 7pm to 7am
• You will manage a team ensuring each member is effective, trained and developed
• Being the main point of contact for all in-house and external guest queries and requests during the night
• Liaising with all departments and ensure swift and efficient communication across the hotel
• Maintain clear communication with the day team by preparing handover notes and ensuring all relevant information is recorded
• Handle any emergency situations overnight, acting as the point of contact and coordinating with necessary departments

What We Need From You

• Previous experience in hospitality or finance roles, with an understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in financial reconciliation
• Good communication skills and the ability to handle guest enquiries professionally
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS)
• Flexibility to work night shifts and the ability to remain focused and productive
