Job summary

Hull-based manufacturing site is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for night shifts. You will maintain machinery, attend breakdowns, and perform planned maintenance during production hours from 6pm to 12am, with sole on-site responsibility from midnight to 6am.

The role emphasizes a mechanical background, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and suitability for various engineering backgrounds in a production environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) required.
• Experience with machinery maintenance in production environments.
• Background in facilities or field service considered for transition into manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery and respond to breakdowns.
• Perform planned maintenance and align with PPM schedules in the evening shift.
• Carry out facilities and general factory maintenance.
• Work as the sole engineer on site during night hours.
• Operate on a 4 on 4 off night schedule (18:00–06:00).
