Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Night Admin & Shunter in Bolton. You will split your time between night administration and hands-on yard work, driving a Terberg tug to shunt trailers and help keep the yard organised.

Shift is Sunday to Thursday, 20:00–04:00. A Full Cat B driving licence is required, together with good communication, reliability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role offers variety and practical learning in a busy logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Full Cat B driving licence is required.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable and punctual with good time management.
• Comfortable working night shifts.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy logistics environment.
• Experience in logistics, admin or yard work is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete general night-time administration duties.
• Support the smooth running of the logistics operation.
• Communicate with drivers and yard teams.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
• Work within the yard when required.
• Drive a Terberg tug to shunt trailers safely around the yard.
• Help keep the yard organised and running efficiently.
