Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Night Admin & Shunter in Bolton, working 20:00–04:00 from Sunday to Thursday. The role combines night admin duties with hands-on yard work and shunting trailers in a busy logistics environment.

You will start with administration tasks and then move into yard duties, driving a Terberg tug to shunt trailers safely around the yard. A Full Cat B licence and good organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Full Cat B driving licence required.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable working night shifts.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous logistics, admin or yard experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general night-time administration duties.
• Support the smooth running of the logistics operation.
• Communicate with drivers and yard teams.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
• Work within the yard when required.
• Drive a Terberg tug to shunt trailers safely around the yard.
• Help keep the yard organised and running efficiently.
