Job summary

The Gleneagles Hotel is recruiting a Night Shift Kitchen Porter to support our Culinary team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.

You will work nights, assist chefs and brigades, ensure crockery and cutlery are spotless, and help with storage and waste procedures while delivering excellent guest service in line with the Gleneagles brand.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of kitchens in hospitality and back-of-house operations.
• Experience with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support chefs and brigades; ensure nightly cleaning of kitchens.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery and glassware are cleaned to high standards.
• Store equipment safely and maintain storage areas.
• Assist with late-night events that run into early hours.
• Interact with members and guests, maintaining hospitality standards.
