The Social Hub in Glasgow is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen running smoothly, handling dishwashing, cleaning, and basic tasks alongside the chefs.

No prior experience needed; training is provided. You’ll thrive in a busy environment with a team-focused, flexible attitude, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, global hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• No experience needed, training provided.
• Some experience in cleaning or support role is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet.
• A team player mindset with a positive, flexible attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness.
• Reliable and hardworking behind the scenes.
• Clear communication skills – able to follow instructions and ask when in doubt.

Responsabilités

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly.
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines.
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless.
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock.
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow.
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP.
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly.
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away.
