Job summary

Crowne Plaza Glasgow is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter on an Occasional Worker Agreement - Casual. You will help keep the kitchen clean, support chefs, and assist with basic food preparation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, maintaining equipment hygiene, managing stock levels, and following safety guidelines to ensure a sanitary kitchen. Flexible shifts, 7 days a week, may be discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas.
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and support the chefs.
• Handle and store food in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and inform when items are low.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste properly and recycle wherever possible.
