Job summary

Greencore in Old Leake near Boston, Lincolnshire is seeking a Kettle Cook for the Nights shift. You will prepare and cook sauces to recipe standards, and taste to ensure flavour and quality before release.

You will work as part of the production team, handling ingredients, operating cooking equipment, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to health and safety, food safety, and GMP requirements. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum entry-level English proficiency.
• Good communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and complete records accurately.
• Willingness to undertake a Food Safety qualification.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Previous food manufacturing or cooking experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook sauces according to recipes.
• Taste and assess sauces as part of quality checks.
• Weigh, lift and handle ingredients as required by the recipe.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow health, safety, and GMP requirements.
• Coordinate with Kettle Runner and High Care Take-Off Operatives.
