Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, hygiene, or sanitation operations in commercial or institutional settings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable night-shift availability and ability to work independently.
• Good organisational and communication skills; COSHH awareness desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitisation of designated areas to hygiene protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals and waste in line with safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and incidents; follow infection control procedures.
• Work efficiently to complete tasks during night shifts and meet schedules.
• Communicate with day shift staff and management about facility conditions.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored and stocked as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet the demands of night shift work.
