Job summary

PrepWorld is seeking Asset Care Technicians for night shifts in the United Kingdom. You will remove and replace conveyors and equipment for hygiene cleaning, carry out scheduled hygiene tasks, and ensure documentation is accurate.

You’ll act as deputy for the hygiene team when required and ensure safe operation of cleaning processes. Ideal candidates have FMCG high care hygiene experience, basic mechanical maintenance skills, and strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Essential hygiene experience in FMCG High Care environment.
• Competent in basic mechanical maintenance practices.
• Competent to employ safe working and electrical isolation (LOTO).
• Intermediate Excel/Word data input skills.
• Good problem solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, can-do attitude and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace conveyor belts, guards and equipment for hygiene tasks.
• Carry out scheduled hygiene tasks and sign off records.
• Ensure machine health and safety issues are reported on shift.
• Follow COSHH, hygiene and food safety procedures; meet SOPs and schedules.
• Act as deputy of Team Leader for hygiene team when required.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of food processing equipment to standards.
