Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Nights Hygiene Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations at Genesis Way, Grimsby. You will deliver routine and periodic cleaning to meet SLA requirements and ensure high standards of hygiene across the site.

The role includes supervising a team on a 4 on 4 off shift from 6pm to 6am, coordinating with the hygiene shift manager, handling chemicals safely under COSHH guidelines, and training staff as needed; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in cleaning operations.
• Good communication and reliability in a team environment.
• COSHH training or willingness to learn safety handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine and periodic cleaning to meet SLA requirements.
• Supervise cleaning staff and ensure high hygiene standards across the site.
• Liaise with Hygiene shift manager and coordinate shift patterns (4 on 4 off, 6pm–6am).
• Handle chemicals safely and ensure containers are labelled and locked per procedures.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor cleanliness, and assist with stock ordering as needed.
• Provide technical training and uphold Health & Safety procedures.
