Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Hygiene Operative in Grimsby to deliver routine and periodic cleaning to meet SLA. You will work as part of a team to ensure high standards of hygiene across the site, including washing equipment, walls, floors, and overheads.

You will handle low risk hygiene tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and perform deep sanitation. COSHH training is required on entry; IPAF is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• General low risk hygiene tasks including washing equipment, walls, floors.
• Liaise with Hygiene Supervisor and use chemicals with proper labelling.
• Dismantling equipment and machinery; COSHH training where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and periodic cleaning to meet SLA standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment and perform deep sanitation.
• Ensure containers are labelled and locked; maintain hygiene across site.
