Job summary

The Dunbia Group is seeking a Hygiene Operative at the West Devon Abattoir site in Hatherleigh. You will help maintain high cleanliness standards and rotate between zones monthly. Full on-site training is provided to ensure competence across all areas of the role.

The position operates a 40-hour week with a 16:30 start and a finish around 01:30, plus overtime at 1.5x. Casual dress and two unpaid breaks are included.

Job description

Overview

Working at the West Devon Abattoir site in Hatherleigh. The Hygiene Operative will be ensuring the production areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Rotating between different zones on a monthly basis.

Full training is provided on site to ensure that the individual is competent in all areas of the role.

£13.50 per hour.

16:30pm start – Finish time will be around 01:30am.

40 hour working week. Overtime after your basic hours will be at 1.5 rate.

Casual dress.

2 x Unpaid breaks.

Reporting to the Hygiene team leader.
