Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Hygiene Operations Team Leader - Nights to supervise the hygiene crew during factory cleaning, ensuring production areas meet hygiene standards. You will support compliance with health, safety, food safety, environmental, and company procedures while handling day-to-day people matters, training, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the hygiene team during cleaning operations.
• Provide coaching and hygiene-related training to team members.
• Deal with day-to-day people management matters.
• Support team development in line with the PE competency framework.
• Promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Ensure cleaning activities meet required standards.
• Maintain hygiene schedules and documentation.
• Achieve hygiene audit targets and swabbing standards.
• Represent the business during audits and customer visits.
• Keep hygiene paperwork accurate and up to date.
• Maintain Time & Attendance records for correct pay.
• Monitor performance against hygiene targets.
• Ensure safe working practices and correct PPE usage.
• Carry out Health & Safety audits and inspections.
• Support risk assessment activities within the department.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and environmental improvements.
