Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe in Bodmin is hiring a Hygiene Operative (Nights) to help keep the factory spotless and compliant with hygiene standards.

You will clean machines, equipment and PPE, follow health and safety procedures, and work with the site team to meet deadlines. The role offers a competitive hourly rate with weekly pay and a 22:00–06:00 night shift, Monday to Friday. On-site parking is provided and opportunities for staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in hygiene or manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Undertake factory cleaning and disinfection as directed by Supervisors.
• Ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded.
• Operate and follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and dismantling/reassembling equipment.
• Collaborate with site presentation team to complete tasks on time.
• Minimise waste from chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Keep PPE and consumables stocked and ready for use.
