Job summary

YHA Bath at Fiesole, Bathwick Hill, Bathwick, Bath BA2 6LA is seeking a Night Team Member for overnight shifts from 22:00 to 07:00. This fixed-term, flexible contract runs October 2026 to August 2027, with a minimum of 15 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate of £12.71 plus £1.20 Local Living Allowance.

You will be part of a friendly team delivering hospitality, with training provided and opportunities for personal growth. Benefits include staff discounts and free hostel stays.

Qualifications

• Excellent timekeeping with flexibility to cover different shifts.
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office) – Word, Outlook, Excel.
• A food safety qualification would be beneficial (desirable).
• Knowledge and understanding of YHA and its HEART values.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security of the hostel and make guests feel safe and welcome.
• Work on reception, support guests and prepare necessary reports.
• Regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
• Carry out cleaning duties, help prepare breakfast, and support various tasks for a seamless guest experience.
